Fernando Arteaga is a Calgary Spanish speaking lawyer working at Torres Arteaga Lawyers. Fernando is one of the founders of the firm. He assists his clients with various real estate transactions, such as buying, selling, and transferring titles. Fernando is passionate about serving clients and assisting them to resolve their legal needs in an efficient manner. If a problem arises, he believes there is no benefit for a client or a lawyer if the lawyer unnecessarily drags out the process. Fernando considers it important to build bridges and work on common ground with other parties as much as possible. However, he will consider all avenues to resolve a problem as efficiently as possible.

Before practicing real estate, Fernando represented companies and individuals in complex civil litigation matters. Fernando has conducted trials at the Alberta Court of Justice and appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal. Attending court has allowed Fernando to develop effective oral advocacy and practical knowledge to resolve problems. Fernando uses these skills in his main areas of practice to meet his clients' legal needs.

One of the things that Fernando has enjoyed the most about his practice is that the learning process never ends. Fernando has a bachelor’s degree in Social and Political science, a law Degree from the Universidad Catolica and a Master degree in law from the University of Calgary in energy and environmental law. He dedicates several hours to reviewing points of law that are relevant to his practice.
